Many factors influence a machine learning engineer’s typical income, including experience, industry, and geographic location. However, according to Indeed, the average machine learning engineer earns roughly $111,505 per year, based on nearly a thousand anonymously submitted earnings. This is about double the average gross yearly wage per full-time employee in the United States, which is expected to be roughly $69,392 in 2020.
